Rules & Guidelines
Code 3 Gaming follows two sets of rules: Community, and Server Rules. Community Rules refers to the overall community ruleset we have established at C3G. These rules should always be followed strongly, as breaking these rules will result in proper punishment. Server Rules should be followed at all times. These rules were made to give players a fair advantage while in server.
Community Rules
A microphone is required (good quality)
No Voice Changers
No high pitch or robotic voices
Push To Talk (PTT) must be enabled (Server Only)
Must be 14 or older to join C3G. Must be 17 or older to hold a Command Position in LEO or Fire/EMS.
Must be respectful at all times.
No name calling/hate speech! Use of racial slurs, derogatory statements, homophobic terms are NOT allowed in Discord or in server! We heavily enforce this rule.
NO TOXIC BEHAVIOR WHATSOEVER!!! You will be removed from Code 3 Gaming.
All players must abide and follow Terms of Service & Rules:
Discord
Twitch/YouTube/Kick
Social Media
Server Rules
Must use realistic character names (First Name / Last Name)(no meme names, joke names, etc), and the name cannot break any TOS.
Cop Baiting is PROHIBITED!
Fire/EMS Personnel are OFF LIMITS!!! *Unless they are brought into a current roleplay situation*
This means that any Fire/EMS personnel on a scene, for example, of a medical call or a structure fire are NOT to be harassed, assaulted, or shot upon for ANY REASON!! If Fire/EMS is called onto an active scene, like a hostage situation for example, with Police already on scene, then that's different.
New Life Rule (NLR)
Any events leading up to your character going to Intensive Care (ICU) or death must be forgotten (30 minutes prior to going down is forgotten). If Police or EMS are responding to the scene, you may not respawn.
Metagaming
Metagaming is using information that your character received that did not occur in game (Discord, stream chat, etc.) to enhance roleplay
Using any forms of outer-server communication (Discord chats, channels, calls, etc.) for roleplay purposes is prohibited.
Powergaming
Misuse of game mechanics and using it to your advantage.
Roleplaying having God powers (No way in hell)
Not fearing for your life when you're threatened (Come on, you know you don't want to die)
Not roleplaying your injuries during/after being treated by EMS
Tackling then shooting right after to prevent the player from shooting back.
Random Deathmatch (RDM)
Killing another player/other players for no reason, with no intent, or with no roleplay to follow suit.
NOT ALLOWED WHATSOEVER!
Vehicle Deathmatch (VDM)
Killing another player/other players with a vehicle for no reason, with no intent, or with no roleplay to follwo suit.
ALSO NOT ALLOWED WHATSOEVER!
Fail RP
Pocket Wiping is NOT allowed, take only items that make sense.
Stealing from downed officers and taking optional items like PD issued equipment is allowed, HOWEVER lingering around for too long after taking items is a reportable offense due to FailRP.
Ocean or Mountain dumping in order to force someone to lose all their items and forget what happened.
Escorting a body while they are in a downed state while still in active shooting is NOT allowed.
Rules of Engagement
During a war/shootout, everyone must talk and RP their engagement out as part of the initiation rule.
Repairing a vehicle at Benny's while on the run/being chased by Police is prohibited
Ramming other vehicles with your vehicle
Leading police to an area just to ambush them with little to no RP behind it.
Using /OOC
OOC should ONLY be used for technical issues/emergencies, or if something is preventing an RP from continuing. Abuse of OOC will result in a ban. Never use OOC for general questions/support. If you have a general/support question, use Discord.
Combat Logging
Leaving the server during an active scene. Highly prohibited. Will result in a ban
Not Valuing Life (NVL)
While roleplaying in city, you must value your life as well as the lives of others. Your character should act accordingly to their personality and mannerisms when faced with a threat to their life. This, however, does not mean that a "brave" character can ignore a gun pointed at them. They must fear for their life when met with life threatening situations. Failure to abide by this rule will be treated as NVL.
Prohibited Roleplay
Corrupt Police/DOJ/Fire/EMS RP, Pregnant RP, Suicide RP, Torture RP without consent, Sexual Assault RP, Erotic RP, Cancer RP, and Beastiality RP are ALL prohibited!!!
Poor Roleplay
If your RP does not meet our expectations, you will be completely removed from the city (perma-banned) if your RP doesn't meet the standards we expect of you. Regardless of who you are, content creator, streamer, original citizen, new citizen, "friend-of-admins", it doesn't matter. The health of the city is paramount and if you aren't following the rules, you're just taking up a slot that someone else could be on. Also, note that this ban can and will happen without a warning and is NOT one that can be appealed. Lastly, for smaller repeat offenses such as NVL and general shit lording, if you get a temporary ban, we will also pull your priority if you have it.
"Policing the police" is considered poor roleplay. This is not tolerated here and will result in an instant ban with or without a ticket.
Players shall refrain from displaying any toxic behavior while in a downed state. This includes verbally. You must roleplay out your injuries.
Active Scenes
After leaving an active scene, you can not return until the current scene is over with.
You may not go medically treated and return.
You may not have you vehicle repaired at Benny's or any other player ran mechanic shop and return.
Leaving the scene to get more supplies is not allowed.
Pulling/Putting a vehicle from a garage is not allowed.
Guidelines
Reporting Players
When reporting a player(s), be sure you have every piece of vital information to take action on. Please be detailed as possible in your report so staff are able to go over as much information to understand the situation in full. Include any of the following:
Player Name
Character Name
Player ID
Any Photo/Video evidence (Would help the most)
Treat locals (NPCs) as civilians in the state of San Andreas.
When roleplaying, be mindful of your surroundings including the roleplay of others.
Always stick to your character's traits, negatives and positives.
Criminal Activities
Having a criminal character is well needed in the right context. Going 0-100 in the first few days of the city is not the right way to go. Your character should be learning the city, the people who live in it and it's surroundings before doing any sort of criminal activity.
If you were recently involved in a scene with police, you should give it some time before getting back into another situation with the police or you will be hit with longer jail times/fines for repeated crimes in a short time span.
Building up a story or conflict will help your character in the long run with meeting connections and having something to look forward to!
Don't use EMS as a revive station. When being treated by EMS, provide them with as much roleplay as possible which will help both sides to produce a good quality scene. Using /me can go a long way when being treated by EMS, or in any roleplay scene.
When police are involved in a scene, its always best to not get yourself involved if you're not part of the scene. Creating tension or a story with police can help further your character in more ways than one. Just be mindful in any situation when police are involved.
Respect LEOs and Fire/EMS!
Create RP for others, not just you!
